Why So Many Questions?
Some other event insurance policies have lots of exclusions. Some contain "Warranties" - a warranty is an absolute condition precedent to the insurers paying your claim, so if you do not comply with the terms of a warranty, they don't have to pay your claim. The reason they do this is because they don't ask the right questions which would enable them to underwrite the risk - it's the easy option for an underwriter. We don't work like that.
If you need advice on the type of cover which meets your needs, then we do need to get a good picture of what the event is all about, and how you are running it. This is why we have proposal forms. We realise that not every question is relevant to every event, but since we underwrite events ranging from villages fetes to multi destination incentive travel programmes, there will inevitably be some questions which are not relevant to your event - if so, just say so. If we need more information we will ask you.
Why is the Online Form Shorter?
